TSI operates two container terminals in the Port of Vancouver, Canada. Deltaport is a state-of-the-art facility with an annual throughput of 600,000 TEU (currently being expanded to 850,000 TEU). The terminal uses TSI's JSTEPS (Software Terminal Extended Planning System) technology to control container movements for vessel operations/ship planning, yard planning and control, truck gate movements and container inventory control.
The technology from Deltaport is now being used to upgrade and improve operations at Vanterm (annual throughput: 450,000 TEU). In-ground container positioning transponders have been installed in the container yard with touch-screen terminals in all yard equipment.
In addition to operating Deltaport and Vanterm, TSI is affiliated with three container terminals in the U.S.A., in the ports of Long Beach and New York/New Jersey.
