Container Terminal Development
Due to the growth in container traffic, Puerto Cabello needs a new container terminal in order to remain competitive. Together with a local subcontractor, Sandwell/TSI provided master planning, site location, feasibility study and design services for the new facility.

For the two ports, Sandwell reviewed existing operations, proposed expansion plans and the infrastructure required to meet forecasted market demands to the year 2010. Our recommendations were accompanied by outline specifications for all handling equipment, and proposals for control documents and operations software.
