Sandwell's Burlington and Montreal Operations Register their Health, Safety and Environment Management Systems
July 2007, Canada – In addition to Sandwell’s Vancouver operation, our Burlington and Montreal operations' Health, Safety and Environmental Management Systems have received registration from the Quality Management Institute (QMI) to the international occupational health and safety specification OHSAS 18001 and the environmental management standard ISO 14001.
The success of Sandwell’s ISO 9001 registered quality management system will allow the company to become one of the first engineering services companies to register all three management systems. The ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 registration will allow Sustainable HSEC to be considered in every design, and on every construction site.
